Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose stories of childhood heartache gained widespread fame in the early 21st century. Swift was interested in music since a young childhood. Swift quickly rose up to the top of the ladder, beginning by playing roles in the theater for children and then performing before an enormous crowd. When Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game when she was 11, she was already writing songs. In the following year she started playing the guitar. Taking her inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original lyrics that expressed her feelings of being a tween and feeling alienated. Swift was forced to move from Pennsylvania with her family and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to wooing label labels for country music in Nashville.
